yam casserole
(2 RATINGS)
My aunt introduced this dish to my brother and I while we were only 8 and 10 years old. We hated yams with the melted marshmallows, so my aunt made this one year and 14 years later I still make it a couple times a year. My husband was used to the "traditional" yam dish, ya know the one I hate. Well he begged and insisted I made the "traditional" dish, I said how bout I make my yam dish and if you don't like it, I will make yours. So I did. Guess what? I never have to make the "traditional" dish again. He loved it. Even my 2 yr old niece loves it. So go ahead and give it a try, and I hope your family enjoys it as much as mine does..
