Ingredients
- 2 large acorn squashes, baked for 1 hour
- 2 large yams, baked
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
How To Make whipped yams and winter squash casserole

Step 1Preheat oven to 350.

Step 2Scoop squash from skin and place in a large mixing bowl or food processor.

Step 3Remove yam flesh from skin and add to squash.

Step 4Whip or mash together, incorporating maple syrup and orange juice.

Step 5Place mixture in casserole and dust with cinnamon and nutmeg to taste; Bake for 20 to 30 minutes.
