Ingredients
- 3 medium onions, peeled & quartered
- 3 medium russet potatoes, peeled & quartered
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons whole milk, or more if you want it creamier
- 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper, or to taste
How To Make whipped onion potatoes

Step 1Add onions and potatoes to a pot and fill with water until vegetables are just covered. Bring to a boil and cook until potatoes are tender. Drain.

Step 2Using a hand electric mixer (or stand mixer, if you prefer), beat the potatoes, onions, butter, milk, salt and pepper until almost smooth or until desired consistency.
