Ingredients

  • 7
    potatoes, peeled and boiled
  • 2 Tbsp
    margarine
  • 1 - 3 oz pkg
    cream cheese
  • 1 - 8 oz
    carton sour cream
  • ·
    garlic powder to taste

How to Make Whipped Garlic Potatoes

Step-by-Step

  1. Boil potatoes as you would for mashed potatoes. Drain
  2. Mash potatoes with remaining ingredients adding garlic to desired taste.
  3. Spread into a greased casserole. Dot with margarine. Cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 - 60 minutes.
  4. HINT: This is a wonderful make ahead recipe. You may need to bake longer if taking from the fridge to the oven.
    This recipe works well with meats that do not make gravy. Example: Steak, pork chops, meatloaf etc.
