Ingredients

  • - batter
  • 1/2 cup bisquick mix
  • 3 tablespoons salad oil
  • 1 - egg
  • - enough milk to make loose batter
  • 1/4 - onion minced and sauteed
  • 4 medium size potatoes shredded and simmered in a little oil

How To Make waffle latkes

  • Step 1
    Mix all the ingredients well . If the batter is to thick you can add more milk to make it so it will pour. Get the waffle iron hot and spray the coils well ,add enough mix to the iron to 1/4 inch from edge. Close and lid and cook the waffle until its golden brown. You can leave the waffles in a little while longer for crisper potatoes.
  • Step 2
    Note: They can be frozen on a sheet pan in a single layer. When completely frozen wrap individually and place in a ziplock bag. Yummy!
