Utah Funeral Potatoes
2 pkgshredded frozen potatoes
2 csour cream
2 can(s)cream of celery soup
1 largediced sweet onion
3 csharp shredded cheese
1 ccrushed corn flakes or crackers or bread crumbs
How to Make Utah Funeral Potatoes
- Thaw potatoes. Mix potatoes, sour cream, soup, cheese, and onion. Spread mixture into a large buttered casserole dish. (can be halved for family size)
[optional, for spicy version, add one can of green chilies]
- Top with crumbs or crushed crackers.
- bake, covered for 45 minutes at 350. removing foil and baking uncovered the last 15 minutes.
