This recipe is very versatile. Simple and delicious. It makes a small casserole so double the recipe to feed more.

Ingredients For twice baked tater tots

  • I pkg
    frozen tater tots
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 2 tsp
    everything bagel spice blend
  • 1 tsp
    smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    onion powder
  • 4 Tbsp
    sour cream
  • 1/2 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 c
    monterey jack cheese with jalapeno peppers
  • 4 slice
    cooked bacon chopped
  • 3
    green onions, sliced
  • salt and pepper

How To Make twice baked tater tots

    Bake Tater Tots in a 425 degree oven until golden brown and crisp. Put tots in a large bowl set some aside for topping.

    Mash tots in bowl with butter, salt and pepper. Do not mash too much. Add sour cream, everything bagel seasoning, smoked paprika, onion powder and garlic powder. Mix to incorporate.

    Stir in 1/4 cup of cheddar and 1/4 cup of monterey jalapeno cheese, bacon and green onions. Pour in a greased casserole dish and top with the remaining cheeses.

    Shake some of the everything bagel seasoning onto of cheeses. Top with remaining tater tots. Bake at 350 until heated through and cheese is melted. Garnish with sour cream and green onions
