twice baked potatoes

I accidently made these when I was trying to make them like original twice stuffed potatoes(which are in the skin). I cooked the potatoes to long in the microwave and the skin was falling apart so I mixed it all together and baked it. It was better than the original.

Ingredients

  • 4 - baker size potatoes
  • 16 ounces sour cream
  • 16 ounces bacon your flavor
  • 16 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
  • - salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 - small can evaporated milk

How To Make twice baked potatoes

  • Step 1
    You can bake potatoes in oven or microwave. Cook bacon and chop into bite sized peices. After potatoes are done cooking,lightly mash whole potato( skin and all). Add sour cream, bacon, onion, evaporated milk(don't let it get to watery) and cheese. Salt and peper to taste. Put into baking dish and bake for 35 minutes covered. Then put shredded cheese on to and bake uncovered for 10 minutes. Let cool atleast 5 minutes. Of course baking time will also depend on your oven.
