Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 pounds frozen hash brown potatoes
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- - topping:
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup crushed corn flakes
How To Make texas taters

Step 1Combine butter, hashbrowns, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, onions and cheddar cheese in a 9x13 inch pan or equivilent casserole pan.

Step 2Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes or until bubbly.

Step 3Drizzle melted butter over potatoes and sprinkle corn flakes crumbs. Bake an additional 5 minutes.

Step 4Note: I use a glass casserole pan. I also look for sharp cheddar cheese. Some people also like more cheese. Adding more will not hurt it!
