We use this recipe for a very tasty variation of the 'ole potato side. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds small new red potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon butter, cut in small pieces
  • 1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon italian seasoning, crushed
  • - "just a pinch" of pepper
  • - "just a pinch" of red pepper
  • - fresh snipped rosemary, optional

How To Make teriyaki potatoes

  • Step 1
    Wash potatoes; scrub throughly with a vegetable brush.
  • Step 2
    Cut tiny new potatoes into quarters or the medium potatoes into 1-inch pieces.
  • Step 3
    Place potatoes into 1-1/2 quart microwave-safe casserole.
  • Step 4
    Add butter, teriyaki sauce, garlic salt, italian seasoning, black pepper, and red pepper.
  • Step 5
    Toss to combine.
  • Step 6
    Cover; micro-cook on 100% power (high) for 12 to 15 minutes (14 to 16 minutes for low-wattage ovens) or until potatoes are tender, stirring twice during cooking.
  • Step 7
    Stir before serving.
  • Step 8
    Garnish with snipped rosemary and serve with sour cream, if desired.
