  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 - 1 1/2 teaspoons dried parsley
  • 1 - 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 - 1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 - 1 1/2 teaspoons paprika ( optional)
  • - oil for frying..i used bacon grease
  • - salt and pepper to taste

How To Make tasty red potatoes - my way

  • Step 1
In a medium to large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add potatoes; cook for 10 - 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Step 2
In a small bowl mix the spices.
  • Step 3
Stir in the spices and onion; cook and stir 5 - 10 minutes longer or until potatoes are browned and onions are tender. Add more oil as needed, the potatoes are like sponges..sucks it right up..
  • Step 4
Sometimes I add some crisp bacon also. These make great breakfast potatoes too.. I add salt to taste at the end. The potatoes suck the salt right up while frying, and end up having to salt again. That leads to over usage..
