sweet potatoes with marshmallows
This sweet potatoes with marshmallows recipe is delicious and very easy. It has been made by my grandmother and my mother and now me. It's great for Thanksgiving and Christmas and really anytime of the year that you want a great side dish and tastes awesome and makes your house smell so good cooking. Yummy cinnamon sweet potatoes.. Hope you enjoy.

2 cans of potatoes with make big 9x13 pan
Ingredients
- 2 cans sweet potato yams or fresh
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 to 1 cups pet evaporated milk or coconut milk
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1/2 to 1 cups chopped pecans or nuts of choice
- 1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons nutmeg
- 1 to 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
- bag mini marshmallows
How To Make sweet potatoes with marshmallows

Step 1if using canned yams then put in pan and heat up or put in microwave and heat up. They are already soft and don't need much cooking. If using fresh potatoes then buy yams and cut up and cook as if you were cooking white potatoes for mashed potatoes

Step 2add cooked hot potatoes to big mixing bowl and add all the ingredients and slightly whip with mixer. Do not over mix. They should have some lumps and not be really creamy. Just make sure no really big chunks are left.

Step 3poor into pan for oven or air fryer. Glass, metal, tin, your choice. I use glass.

Step 4add lots of marshmallows onto the top of the potatoes

Step 5cook in oven at 350 for approx 25-30 minutes until the marshmallows are golden brown and toasted. cook in air fryer at 350 for 8-10 minutes until the marshmallows are golden brown and toasted
