My mom and I have fixed this dish for many years..This was my grandmother's dish..We really enjoy this dish with Poultry and other meats...It is so easy...and Tasty Both parsnips and sweet potatoes are not only natural sweet vegetables good for regulating blood sugar, they are full of fiber to help aid in digestion. Ingredients
- 3 large sweet potatoes
- 3 large parsnips
- 3/4 stick butter
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
How To Make sweet potatoes and parsnips

Step 1Par boil sweet potatoes and parsnip for 5 minutes. Peel them and cut into Julian strips.

Step 2Melt butter in skillet, add sweet potatoes, and parsnips, sprinkle salt and pepper on top. Fry in butter add brown sugar and work through the sweet potatoes and parsnips. Cook till they are golden and are glazed looking. Serve hot.....
