Ingredients
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 - egg
- 4 tablespoons sake (optional)
- 3/4 to 1 cups flour
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
How To Make sweet potato tempura

Step 1Mix together the flour and cornstarch and add to the water, sugar, salt, egg, sake, Stir till well blended.

Step 2Slice about 4 sweet potatoes about 1/3 inch thick. dip potato slices in batter and deep fry until golden brown. (about 4-5 minutes)
