This is my signature dish at our family's Thanksgiving dinner every year. It's very sweet and can be served as a side dish or as a dessert. I hope you enjoy it as much as my family has.

Ingredients

1 (40 oz ) can(s)
sweet potatoes (drained)
1 (29 oz) can(s)
sweet potatoes (drained)
1 pinch
salt
2
eggs
1 stick
butter or margarine
1/3 c
milk (or less--you don't want it too soupy as it won't cook down)
1 c
sugar

BROWN SUGAR TOPPING

1 c
light brown sugar
1/3 c
all purpose flour
1/3 stick
margarine or butter (melted)
1 c
chopped pecans

Step-By-Step

1Brown Sugar Topping--in a small bowl, mix all ingredients together and set aside.
2In large bowl mash sweet potatoes then add salt, eggs, margarine, milk and sugar together
3Spoon into large casserole dish and top with Brown Sugar Topping
4Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
