sweet potato casserole
This is my signature dish at our family's Thanksgiving dinner every year. It's very sweet and can be served as a side dish or as a dessert. I hope you enjoy it as much as my family has.

Ingredients
- 1 (40 oz ) can sweet potatoes (drained)
- 1 (29 oz) can sweet potatoes (drained)
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 - eggs
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 1/3 cup milk (or less--you don't want it too soupy as it won't cook down)
- 1 cup sugar
- BROWN SUGAR TOPPING
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1/3 cup all purpose flour
- 1/3 stick margarine or butter (melted)
- 1 cup chopped pecans
How To Make sweet potato casserole

Step 1Brown Sugar Topping--in a small bowl, mix all ingredients together and set aside.

Step 2In large bowl mash sweet potatoes then add salt, eggs, margarine, milk and sugar together

Step 3Spoon into large casserole dish and top with Brown Sugar Topping

Step 4Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
