Thanksgiving would not be Thanksgiving if Aunt Lucy Ann did not bring the Sweet Potato Casserole.

  • 3 c
    fresh sweet potatoes, cooked (baked or boiled)
  • 1/4 c
    margarine, melted
  • 1 c
    granulated sugar
  • 3
    eggs, beaten
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1/2 c

  • 1/2 c
    pecan pieces
  • 1/4 stick
  • 1/3 c
  • 1/2 c
  • 1 c
    brown sugar

How to Make Sweet Potato Casserole


  1. Mix all casserole ingredients together with mixer and pour into greased casserole.
  2. Topping
    Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle on top of casserole.
  3. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
  4. HINT: You may substitute 1 large can of drained sweet potatoes for fresh.
