Ingredients

3 cmashed sweet potatoes (fresh or canned)

2 largeeggs

1/4 cbutter, softened

1/2 cwhite sugar

1/2 cmilk

1 dash(es)salt

1 tsppure vanilla extract

1/2 call purpose flour
-
1/2 cbrown sugar
-
1 cchopped pecans (may use walnuts)

1/4 cbutter
How to Make Sweet Potato Casserole
- Combine sweet potatoes, eggs, sugar milk, salt, 1/4 cup butter and vanilla. Spread in greased shallow casserole dish. Combine flour, brown sugar, and remaining 1/4 cup butter to make crumbs. Sprinkle on potato mixture. Sprinkle with chopped pecans. (May make to this point and refrigerate). Bake at 350f 45 minutes. If made ahead, bake 1 hour. Serve hot.
