Yummy alternative to Thanksgiving sweet potatoes...my son-in-law loves them!

Ingredients

  • 2 cans large cans sweet potatoes, drained and mashed
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup softened butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • TOPPING:
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup softened butter

How To Make sweet potato casserole

  • Step 1
    Mix first ingredients, pour into greased 2 quart casserole. Blend topping ingredients until crumbly and evenly sprinkle on top. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes, not to let top get too brown.
