sweet potato casserole
This recipe is my ex-husbands' Aunt Nora's. I started making it myself a several years ago and now it is requested at Thanksgiving and Christmas, even in my new life in a new state. While I don't have a picture right now, I will be sure and post one later.

Ingredients
- POTATOES
- 1 can sweet potatoes (29 oz) or 4-5 large baked sweet potatoes
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 2 - eggs, beaten
- 1/3 cup canned milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- TOPPING
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/3 cup margarine
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
How To Make sweet potato casserole

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2To make the potatoes, drain and mash the sweet potatoes.

Step 3Add the margarine, eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla. Mix well and pour into a well-greased 9x12-inch glass pan.

Step 4To make the topping, mix the brown sugar and flour together in a medium bowl. Add the softened margarine, working with your fingers until crumbly.

Step 5Add pecans and mix until well blended. Spread evenly over the sweet potato mixture.

Step 6Bake for 35 minutes or until done.
