This recipe is my ex-husbands' Aunt Nora's. I started making it myself a several years ago & now it is requested at thanksgiving and Christmas, even in my new life in a new state. While I don't have a picture right now, I will be sure & post one later.

Ingredients For sweet potato casserole

  • 1 lg can
    sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 c
    margarine
  • 2
    eggs (beaten)
  • 1/3 c
    canned milk
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • TOPPING
  • 1 c
    brown sugar (packed)
  • 1/4 c
    flour
  • 1/3 c
    margarine
  • 1 c
    pecans (chopped)

How To Make sweet potato casserole

    Pre Heat oven to 350°

    Drain and Mash Sweet Potatoes

    add 1/2 cup margarine, eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla. Mix Well & pour into a 9x12 in glass pan. (Spray well with cooking spray)

    In med bowl, mix brown sugar and flour. Add softened margarine untill crumbly.

    Add pecans and mix until well blended. Spread Evenly over Sweet Potatoe mixture.

    Bake for 35 minutes or until done.
