sweet potato casserole
This recipe was first introduced on Thanksgiving before my son left for his first tour in Iraq. My sister-in-law knew how much my son loved sweet potato's so she made him this dish. I have to share it with you.

Ingredients
- 4 1/2 cups cooked sweet potato(peeled, cubed, boiled and mashed
- 1/2 cup butter (softened)
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 cup regular sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 - eggs (beaten)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1/1/2 cup choice of chopped nuts
How To Make sweet potato casserole

Step 1After sweet potatoes have been cooked and mashed mix together with 1/2 cup soften butter,milk,regular sugar,vanilla extract and beaten eggs.

Step 2Spread into 9by13 inch baking dish pushing down and smoothing it out to make even.

Step 3In small bowl combine brown sugar,flour,nuts of choice and sprinkle this over whole casserole. then drizzle 1/2 cup melted butter over the top.

Step 4Bake at 350 for 20 to 30 minutes.
