A nice spicy twist to curly fries that are sure to become a family favorite.

Ingredients

  • 3 large potatoes
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon chipotle chili powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 3 tablespoons egg
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons milk

How To Make spicy curly fries

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Step 2
    Cut potatoes into curly fries using a curly fry cutter, or cut potatoes into regular fries. (Peel or not peel, your choice)
  • Step 3
    Put potatoes into medium size sauce pan and add water to fully cover potatoes. Bring to boil for 3 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Drain potatoes in a colander and rinse with cold water. Dry potatoes and set aside.
  • Step 5
    Combine paprika, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, chipotle powder and flour in a small bowl.
  • Step 6
    Whisk in egg and milk.
  • Step 7
    Pour fries into a large bowl and add seasoning mixture. Mix well.
  • Step 8
    Place fries onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Step 9
    Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping once or twice until fries are crispy.
