Ingredients
- 3 cups sweet potatoes, mashed
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 - eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/3 cup spiced rum
- TOPPING
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/3 cup self rising flour
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
How To Make spiced rum sweet potatoes with praline topping

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 baking dish.

Step 2In a large bowl, mix the sweet potatoes and sugar.

Step 3Stir in the eggs.

Step 4Mix in milk, vanilla extract, and 1/2 cup melted butter.

Step 5Gradually stir in the rum until well-blended.

Step 6Transfer mixture to baking dish.

Step 7In a medium bowl, mix ingredients for topping. Sprinkle over sweet potato mixture

Step 8Bake 30 minutes in preheated oven. Allow to stand at least 10 minutes before serving.
