I learned this from a friend's mom in Highschool, and have been serving it to my husband for years now :0) Very Rich, but sooo worth the calories! :0)

Ingredients
- 1 package red potatoes
- 1 - sour cream (16 oz container)
- 1 - parmesan cheese (regular container)
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make special red mashed potatoes

Step 1Wash potatos throughly..DO NOT PEEL! You will be leaving the skin on in this recipe :0)

Step 2Cut into small chunks. This step is so the potatos cook more quickly, and are easier to mash.

Step 3Once potatoes are cooked,drain very well, and put back into their cooking pot. Then prepare the potatoes just like you would for regular mashed potatoes.(add your milk, butter, and salt and pepper)

Step 4Here is the Rich part...add in the 16oz. container of Sour cream, mix until incorporated.

Step 5Then add the parmesean cheese, about half the container, and also mix until incorporated.

Step 6Serve immediatly **And Voila! You now have a rich and different take on mashed potatoes to stir things up in your weekly rotation :0) Hope you enjoy!!
