  • 1 pkg
    hash brown potatoes, frozen
  • 16 oz
    sour cream
  • 1 medium
    onion (chopped)
  • 1/2
    stick of butter (room temperature)
  • 15 oz
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 3 c
    cheese, shredded

How to Make Southern Hashbrown Casserole


  1. Mix all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl except 1 cup of cheese. Place into 9x11 greased baking dish, top with remaining cheese and bake on 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
