Ingredients
- 7 cups instant mashed potatoes
- 1 - egg, beaten
- 1 large scallion, chopped
- 1 cup sour cream
- - salt
- - pepper
- 2 cups corn flakes, crushed
- 1/2 stick butter, melted
- - onion salt
How To Make sour cream potato pie

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2Combine egg, scallion, sour cream, salt and pepper.

Step 3Make instant potatoes according to package directions, EXCEPT omit the milk; instead, add the sour cream mixture.

Step 4Spread in baking pan.

Step 5Toss corn flakes with butter and onion salt, to taste; spoon on top of potato mixture.

Step 6Bake for about 20 minutes, or until the crumbs begin to brown.
