Instood of souped up rice, I tried souped up mash potatoes! Extra flavorable dish! Easy too!

Ingredients

  • 2 large baking potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 32 ounces chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 bottle sea salt grinder
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 can 10.5 cream of celery soup
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

How To Make souped up mashed potatoes with carmalized onions

  • Step 1
    Add potatoes to a pot with the chicken broth, bring to a boil. Cook until potaoes are tender.
  • Step 2
    Saute onions until carmalized in the oil, set aside.
  • Step 3
    Drain potatoes and add to a serving bowl. Add the butter, soup, pepper.
  • Step 4
    Grind sea salt to your taste.
  • Step 5
    Using a mixer or masher, mash potatoes until smooth and creamy.
  • Step 6
    Granish top of potatoes with carmalized onions.
