- 4 teaspoons butter
- 4 teaspoons liquid smoke
- 1 small onion
- 4 pinches Tony Chachere Original Creole Seasoning
How To Make smokey onion grilled potatoes
-
Step 1Cut the potatoes into fourths, leaving the skins attached at the bottoms.
-
Step 2Put each potato in the center of a piece of aluminum foil big enough to wrap it up in.
-
Step 3Put a teaspoon of butter in the center of each potato.
-
Step 4Slice the onion.
-
Step 5Place 4 or 5 rings of the onions in between the quarters of the potatoes.
-
Step 6Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of liquid smoke over each potato.
-
Step 7Put a Tony Cachere Original Creole Seasoning on each potato.
-
Step 8Wrap the aluminum around each potato sealing it shut to contain all the butter and liquid smoke in when it heats up.
-
Step 9Place on grill or you could put it in the oven for an hour to an hour and half til the potatoes are soft. If you put it in the oven cook at 350 degrees. If you put it on the grill use a medium heat.
-
Step 10Serve with sour cream.
