Ingredients
- 3 pounds small red potatoes
- 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter, unsalted
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup chives and onion cream cheese, from 8 ounce container
- 1/3 cup milk
How To Make slow cooker creamy smashed potatoes

Step 1Quarter potatoes and place in slow cooker. Add garlic, butter, salt and water; mix well.

Step 2Cover; cook on high setting 3-1/2 to 4-1/2 hours or until potatoes are tender.

Step 3With potato masher, mash potatoes and garlic.

Step 4Stir in cream cheese. Stir in enough milk for right consistency.

Step 5Can be held in slow cooker on low setting up to 2 hours.
