Goodness, are these incredible. Gooey, cheesy, and potatoes? Is anyone else drooling just thinking about it? I have made these in the microwave, but they don't end up as yummy as in the oven.

- 4 - potatoes
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3 teaspoons parsley, chives, thyme or sage
- 4 tablespoons grated cheddar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons parmesan
How To Make sliced baked potatoes

Step 1Peel potatoes if skin is tough, otherwise just rinse. Cut in thin slices but not all the way through: place the handle of a wooden spoon alongside the potato to avoid cutting it through. Put potatoes in a baking dish, fan them out slightly, drizzle with butter and sprinkle with herbs. Bake at 425 degrees 50 minutes, remove from oven and sprinkle with cheeses. Bake an additional 10-15 minutes until lightly browned, cheeses are melted, and potato is soft inside.
