My mother-in-law had a knack for making simple recipes that tasted like she tolled over the oven and stove! But her love of cooking and her love for her family showed every time we sat down for a meal of hers. This dish is very simple and so good, that I had to share it.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Rich and creamy scalloped potatoes to elevate your holiday dinner. Slices of potatoes are cooked in heavy cream and butter. Sliced onions not only add some texture but they infuse flavor into the side dish. The key is to cut the onions and potatoes to the same width so they bake evenly. These scalloped potatoes are very decadent.
