How to Make Simple, Perfect Mashed Potatoes
- Peel potatoes and clean under cool tap water.
- Cut potatoes into cubes.
- Place potatoes in a large pot of Dutch oven. Fill with water about 2-inches above potatoes.
- Boil potatoes until soft, about 25 minutes.
- Drain well. Return potatoes to pot.
- Add remaining ingredients and beat with medium speed of an electric mixer until potatoes reach desired level of consistency.
