  • 4 cups refrigerated shredded hash brown potatoes
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded divided
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions [about 4 medium]
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

How To Make shredded potatoes au gratin

  • Step 1
    preheat oven to 350F.Lightly spray for 1- cup ramekins with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Step 2
    Combine the hash brown potatoes,cream,Cheddar,the onions,salt and pepper in large bowl.mix well
  • Step 3
    Spoon the potato mixture into the prepared ramekins.Sprinkle with the remaining cheese.Bake until bobbly and golden brown and the potatoes are cooked,34-45 minutes
  • Step 4
    if youprefer,you can prepare thesepotatoes in one 11-x7-inch baking dish.just increase the baking time by about 12 minutes.
