Semi-homeade Mashed Potatoes
How to Make Semi-homeade Mashed Potatoes
- 1Measure potato pearls and water according to package directions, replacing HALF the water with the canned milk.
- 2Bring water/milk to a boil.(do not scald)
- 3Remove from heat and add potato pearls, whisking constantly with a large whisk to remove all lumps.
- 4Stir in butter and sour cream to taste. (I use about 1/2 cup of each for a medium sized pot)
- 5Allow potatoes to sit until thickened.(about 15 minutes)
