seasoned basil potatoes
This is one of the many ways I like to cook potatoes. French Fries in a new way. Kids LOVE them!!

Ingredients
- 6 large potatoes (any kind you like)
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 3/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 small onion, optional
- 1 small green pepper, optional
- 1 stick butter or olive oil
How To Make seasoned basil potatoes

Step 1If you chose to have onions and peppers, clean them, then chop them into bite sized chunks and set aside.

Step 2Clean potatoes (don't have to peel) and slice into about 1/4 inch slices.

Step 3In a small bowl, combine butter, garlic, onion powder, and basil.

Step 4Put the potatoes (onions and peppers if wanted) in a glass baking dish and cover in the butter mixture making sure all potatoes are covered. spread them out evenly in the pan and sprinkle with seasoned salt.

Step 5Bake for about 35 minutes or until they are cooked for your liking.
