3large russet potatoes
1/2 colive oil, extra virgin
1/4 ccoarse sea salt
1/3 ccheese, shredded sharp cheddar (optional)
1/4 csour cream (optional)
1/4 cbutter (optional)
1/4 cgreen onion, chopped (optional)
How to Make Sea Salt Crusted Baked Potatoes
- Preheat oven to 400 bake
- Scrub the potatoes. Mix extra virgin olive oil, sea salt and pepper in a bowl. Roll the potatoes in the mixture. Place the potatoes on a foil lined cookie sheet. (The foil lining makes the cleanup a lot easier). Pour the remaining mixture on top of the potatoes and rub the top each potato until evenly coated. Do not cover the potatoes.
- Place the potatoes on the cookie sheet in the oven and bake 400 for 1 hr. 30 min.
