I found a whole recipe box of my Nanny's cooking secrets! So, instead of being selfish, I thought I would spread a little country cooking love!

Ingredients

  • 1 can(s)
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 4 c
    thinly sliced potatoes
  • 1/2 c
    thinly sliced onion
  • 1 c
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter

How to Make Scalloped Potatoes

Step-by-Step

  1. Blend soup, milk, & a dash of pepper.
  2. In a buttered 1 1/2 qt. casserole dish, arrange alternating layers of potatoes, onion, soup mixture, and cheese. Dot top with butter; sprinkle with paprika.
  3. Cover; bake at 375 for 1 hr. Uncover; bake 15 min. more, or until done.
