Ingredients
- WHITE SAUCE IS 1ST 4 INGREDIENTS
- 3 Tbs - butter
- 3 Tbs - flour
- 1/2 tsp - salt and pepper each
- 2 1/2 C - milk
- 6-8 - med potatoes, slice thinly
- 1 med - onion, chopped fine
- 2 C - ham, cut in pieces

How To Make scalloped potatoes & ham by freda

Step 1Make a white sauce of the 1st 4 ingredients. (melt butter and flour and salt pepper and milk) Stirring constantly until smooth and bubbly.

Step 2Peel and slice taters; layer 1/3 potatoes, 1/2 onion & Ham, and 1/2 of the white sauce in a 6 qt casserole; REPEAT. top with remaining potatoes, and white sauce. Dot with 1-2 TBS Butter. Cover and BAKE 30 min.

Step 3uncover and Bake about 1 hr, or until potatoes are soft. (NOTE: I use part ham juice and milk)
