Potatoes are often served as a side dish in Denmark. This is a typical scalloped potato recipe. I hope you enjoy it! Note: This recipe makes a lot so feel free to reduce the amounts.

- 5-6 pounds potatoes
- 1 teaspoon ground numeg
- 4 large onions, sliced
- 1 bunch fresh rosemary, minced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- - salt and pepper, to taste
- 30-35 ounces heavy cream
How To Make scalloped potatoes - danish style

Step 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Peel potatoes and slice them thinly. Apply cooking spray into a casserole dish and layer the sliced potatoes and onions into it.

Step 2In a bowl, mix the cream, garlic, rosemary, salt and pepper together. Pour this mixture over the potatoes and onions.

Step 3Bake for 50 min. to 1 hour. (can tent them if it looks like they are getting too dark on top)
