    1 bag frozen waffle fries, 22 oz
  • ·
    salt and pepper
  • ·
    1 1/2 cups sliced red onion
  • ·
    4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • ·
    1 jalapeno, sliced
  • ·
    1 tbsp. canola oil (i use olive oil)
  • ·
    1/2 tsp. sugar
  • ·
    lime wedges

How to Make Salt and pepper fries with onion and jalapeno

Step-by-Step

  1. Prehe4at oven to 425 with baking sheet on center rack. Bake fries on preheated baking sheet according to package directions. Season with salt and black pepper halfway through baking. Return fries to oven to finish baking.
  2. Saute onion, garlic and jalapeno in oil in skillet over high heat til onion is crisp tender; season with sugar,salt and pepper. Top fries with onion mixture and serve with lime wedges
