After watching an episode of 5 Ingredient Fix on FoodNetwork, my son has become inspire to make ordinary food extra-ordinary 5-I-F style.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons oil or bacon fat
  • 8 - potatoes thinly sliced, peeled or not, your choice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped fine
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • - salt & pepper to taste
  • - sauted onions (optional)

How To Make rosemary garlic fried potatoes

  • Step 1
    Slice the potatoes thin, put into frying pan with heated oil or bacon grease. Add other ingredients to taste. I have found a non stick skillet works best for fried potatoes. Also, let them cook for awhile on one side before flipping them. For crispier potatoes, put less in the pan. In a full pan they aren't going to get as crispy.
  • Step 2
    For vegetarian or vegan, use oil instead of bacon fat
