I always make some type of potatoe with our dinners.

Ingredients

  • 5 pounds potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoons onion salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 - 3 oz. pkgs. cream cheese

How To Make refrigerated mashed potatoes

  • Step 1
    Cook potatoes in boiling, salted water. Drain. Mash until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and beat until light and fluffy. Cool. Cover and place in refrigerator. Use within 2 weeks. To use: place desired amount in greased casserole. dot with butter and bake at 350 for about 45 to 60 minutes. May need to add milk to get potatoes to desired consistency.
