Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 medium onion (chopped)
- 2 cans cream of potato soup, undiluted
- 3 1/2 cups milk
- 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
- 1 1/2 pounds medium fresh shrimp (peeled)
- 4 ounces shredded monterey jack cheese
- - parsley as garnish
How To Make quick shrimp chowder

Step 1Melt butter in Dutch oven. Add onion and saute 8 minutes.

Step 2Stir in soup, milk and pepper. Bring to a boil.

Step 3Add shrimp~reduce heat to simmer, stirring often until shrimp turn pink.

Step 4Stir in cheese until melted.
