Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 medium
    onion (chopped)
  • 2 can(s)
    cream of potato soup, undiluted
  • 3 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground red pepper
  • 1 1/2 lb
    medium fresh shrimp (peeled)
  • 4 oz
    shredded monterey jack cheese
  • ·
    parsley as garnish

How to Make QUICK SHRIMP CHOWDER

Step-by-Step

  1. Melt butter in Dutch oven. Add onion and saute 8 minutes.
  2. Stir in soup, milk and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  3. Add shrimp~reduce heat to simmer, stirring often until shrimp turn pink.
  4. Stir in cheese until melted.
