This was my grandma's recipe. It is a wonderful alternative to mashed potatoes and/or scalloped potatoes. They are simply yummy, and smell insanely good

Ingredients
- 1 pound bag shredded potatoes, (thawed)
- 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 pint sour cream (reg or fat free)
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 2 tablespoons dried onion - or 1/2 c dice onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper, ( i only use 1/2 tsp)
- 1 stick melted butter or margarine
- 1 1/2 cups crushed corn flakes
- 1 stick melted butter or margarine
How To Make potluck potatoes

Step 1In large mixing bowl, mix the first 8 ingredients until well blended. Spray 9x13 pan with pam. Spread mixture into pan. Set aside

Step 2In seperate bowl, blend corn flakes and 1 stick melted butter. Sprinkle mixture evenly on top of potatoes.

Step 3Place into a 350 oven and bake for 1 hour and 15 mins. Remove promplty, and enjoy. Makes a wonderful side dish.

Step 4Ive added bacon or ham to give this tasty dish a little something extra and with the added meat can be substitute as a main dish
