Here is a delicious dish, I make quite often. Quick & Easy. Only 15-18 minutes in the NORDIC WARE, MICROWAVE TENDER COOKER. I made pork chops, and tomato hunks on the side to round off this dinner dish.

Ingredients

4 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
1 large onion, chopped
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
3/4-1 cup milk
2 teaspoons corn starch
2 tablespoons butter
1 small jar...chopped pimentos...add with onion , if wanted.

How To Make potatoes o"brien ...... in my tender cooker

Step 1

Layer 1/2 of the potatoes, onions,green pepper in the Tender Cooker. Sprinkle with half of the salt & pepper. .Repeat.

Step 2

Combine 2 tablespoons of milk with the cornstarch. Stir in remaining milk with the corn starch.. and pour over the potatoes. Dot with the butter.
Step 3

Add rubber gasket to the bottom pot. Cover, twist & lock, add the red weight to top of lid. Microwave on High for 15-18 minutes. Let cool in closed microwave 5-10 minutes. Carefully remove hot pot with oven gloves. Wait till yellow stem goes down. Twist lid to open pot. Mix and serve potatoes ..with meat and vegetable of your choice.....Enjoy....nancy.....10/2/12
