Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 tablespoon salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 1/2 pound processed cheese, cubed
- 1 - onion, chopped
- 2 cups potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 pound hot dogs, cut in 1" pieces
- 10 ounces peas and carrots, frozen
How To Make potatoes and hot dogs au gratin

Step 1Cook potatoes in boiling water, until just tender; drain and set aside to cool a little.

Step 2Make a white sauce by melting the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat and mixing in the flour.

Step 3Mix in well the milk, and stir until it thickens.

Step 4Add seasonings and cheese, stir until cheese melts.

Step 5Add hot dogs and peas and carrots, mix well.

Step 6Add cooled potatoes and mix gently.

Step 7Pour into a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish and bake uncovered at 350 degrees oven for 45 minutes or until heated through.
