Reminds me of a potato funnel cake. This recipe was originally given in grams. I have converted it to US measurements so you might find you might need a little more milk. Found at tastemade.com/videos/potato-spirals

How to Make Potato Spirals


  1. Microwave potato until soft. Then mash until smooth.
  2. Add in beaten egg, milk, salt, pepper and parmesan cheese and mix well.
  3. Transfer potato mixture into a piping bag.
  4. Heat oil to 170 degrees C. Squeeze out potato into hot oil in spiral pattern.
  5. Cook until golden brown. Drain well on paper towel before serving.
