I remember helping Grandma make these fantastic little potato gnocchi in her kitchen. They are easy, and incredibly good!

Ingredients
- 1 pound potatoes, pared and quartered
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1 - egg, well beaten
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- dash pepper
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan
How To Make potato gnocchi, grandma w

Step 1Cook, drain and mash potatoes. Beat in butter and egg. Add flour, salt and pepper. Knead to a dough, adding flour if sticky. Divide into four pieces. Roll each on lightly floured surface into a cylinder 1/2 inch thick. Cut into 1" pieces. Drop one by one into gently boiling water. Cook about 3 min or until they come to the surface. Remove with slotted spoon to shallow oven dish. Drizzle with 1/4 c margarine and sprinkle with cheese. Broil to heat and melt cheese.
