This could be either served with breakfast or as a side dish. Heck, it could even be the main dish in my house!

Ingredients

1 pkg
(2 lb pkg) frozen hash brown cubes (o'brien)
2 c
grated cheddar cheese
1/2 c
chopped onion
1 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
garlic powder
dash(es)
pepper
1/4 to 1/3 c
butter
1 pt
sour cream
1 can(s)
cream of chicken soup

TOPPING

1/3 c
butter
1 1/2 c
corn flakes, crushed (not to a powder)

Step-By-Step

1Mix all of first set of ingredients together.
2Put into greased 9 x 13 pan.
3Melt remaining butter and stir into corn flakes.
4Mix and sprinkle on as topping.
5Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
