This is a really tasty potato dish that goes well with BBQ or roasted meats. It's one of my husband's favorite dishes. The recipe came from Jackie Olden who had a radio cook show in the 70's.
The original recipe says "cooked potatoes",I steam them until tender.

  • 6
    good size potatoes, cooked just until tender
  • 2 c
    grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 c
    melted butter
  • 1/3 c
    green onions,chopped
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp
    black pepper
  • 2 c
    sour cream,room temp.
  • ·
    2 t. butter

How to Make Potato Casserole


  1. Peel cooked potatoes and grate; add cheese and butter, mix lightly. Mix onion, salt, & pepper with sour cream. Toss lightly with potatoes. Dot with butter.
    Bake 25 min. at 350 degrees.
