Ingredients

  • - 6 medium whie potatoes
  • - 6 slices bacon
  • - 1 stick butter, divided, 1/2 cup
  • - 1 pint sour cream
  • - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • - 1 cup chopped green onions
  • - 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs

How To Make potato casserole

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350. Boil potatoes in their skins. Peel and grate. Fry and crumble bacon, and melt half the butter.
  • Step 2
    In large bowl, mix potatoes, bacon, melted butter, sour cream, cheese and green onions. Put in a buttered 9 x 13 inch pan. Top with brad crumbs and dot with remaining butter.
  • Step 3
    Bake for 30 minutes or til heated through and top is browned. Makes 12 servings.
