6 medium whie potatoes
6 slices bacon
1 stick butter, divided, 1/2 cup
1 pint sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup chopped green onions
1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs

How to Make Potato Casserole


  • 1Preheat oven to 350. Boil potatoes in their skins. Peel and grate. Fry and crumble bacon, and melt half the butter.
  • 2In large bowl, mix potatoes, bacon, melted butter, sour cream, cheese and green onions. Put in a buttered 9 x 13 inch pan. Top with brad crumbs and dot with remaining butter.
  • 3Bake for 30 minutes or til heated through and top is browned. Makes 12 servings.
